Replacement Information

If your print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact me so I can help. Start by sending photos. You do not need to send the artwork to my address.

1. Photograph the problem

Please take clear photos showing the damage or defect and the whole print. If available, include photos of the packaging and shipping label. Keep the artwork and packaging while the claim is reviewed, where safe and practical.

2. Send the details to me

Email d.a.merrick.art@gmail.com with:

  • Your name and order number, if available.
  • A brief description of the problem.
  • Your photos attached to the email.

Please report the issue promptly after delivery. Reporting within 7 days is helpful, but this is not a deadline that limits your legal rights. You can also use the contact form to get in touch; email is the easiest way to send photos.

3. I coordinate your replacement

I forward the photos and relevant order details to my printing and shipping partner, theprintspace, for assessment. You do not need to contact them yourself. Once a replacement is approved, theprintspace produces it and ships it directly to you at no additional cost. I remain your point of contact throughout.

Do I need to return the damaged print?

The normal process starts with photographic evidence. Please do not send the artwork anywhere unless I provide return instructions.

Theprintspace may occasionally require the damaged item back. If that happens, I will coordinate the return with them and provide the designated address and shipping instructions. Any return they require for an approved damage claim is at their expense.

My published business address is for correspondence only. It does not accept artwork returns.

Your rights

This page explains the damage-replacement process. It does not limit any refund or other remedy required by law. For other order issues and the full conditions, please read the Return and Refund Policy.
